I would like Power BI to have an option to archive a dataset, so it can be saved for historical purposes.
Case: I have a Power BI report pertaining to one fiscal year. When the fiscal year is complete I would like to save this PBI report as a static report so it doesn't refresh anymore and the data do not change. In the new year, I want the PBI to reflect new year's data. I want to save a copy of the PBI with previous year's data for historical lookup purpose.
Tableau has an option to export and save a read-only version of a report which is very handy to save in archive folder and use them in future if needed.
