Add to that the ability to Wrap the legend, rather than having to page left/right to see the categorise that don't fit in the available width
Any plan for this feature in 2021? This is really important for me, thanks.
Simple chart designs like this need to be added to Power BI.
Chart formatting is extremely poor compared to Excel. I acknowledge that responsive design has certain trade-offs, but having more controls would be extremely useful.
I have some dirty hacks by suffixing legend items with 00n, for example but this really makes this chart less effective than it should be. I have to use R instead to be able to get this chart quickly given greater control - unfortunate that this has not been addressed.
This is already possible using custom sort order right? Example here: https://www.seerinteractive.com/blog/reorder-powerbi-legend/
This feature is really needed and useful
This is very valuable feature. ... it helps readability if certain things are in chronological order. For instance, if we are tracking how many issues are there in todo, in progress, in review or completed.. .. current sort order by highest to lowest value (or count of issues in each category) is not really read-able friendly. rather, i should have an ability to sort in this sequence, todo, in progress, in review, completed.
and not only readability, it will also add a bit of random design. currently everything seems flowing from left to right, if i have some random heights in sequence, it would look better as a pure classical Manhattan graph.
Please add this feature of "Axis Sequence" and list down all legends that user can drag and drop to change order.
agree with the thought below to extend this to other stacked chart types
Is there a roadmap on when this feature is planned to be released?
