I should be able to order the "legend" and the values for each legend category in a stacked bar chart. This is similar to "series order" feature in Excel

Even just being able to have the legend in the same order as the columns would be a significant improvement. It's just an embarrassing lack of basic, obvious functionality.

Ordering just by the value doesn't make sense in several cases. Even more currently stacked charts are only ordered by the first Y-value and not the sum of all Y-values.
This creates really ugly charts.
Please plan this as soon as possible. Thank you in advanced.

Dear MS development Team,
Please don't wait for votes, this is a much needed basic feature which a visual should have.
Your are releasing complex features like Small multiples,Percentile lines, I appreciate that, they are good,fancy.
But this one is Basic, basic feature and its waiting since 2015.
Please expedite!!

Along these same lines, it would be nice to set a custom sort order for a field and have that carry over to the legend, charts, etc . . .
