Custom order for legend

I should be able to order the "legend" and the values for each legend category in a stacked bar chart. This is similar to "series order" feature in Excel

My boss, coworkers, etc, think it funny when I make a report where the is in order by:
Patch Set 7, Patch Set 6, Patch Set 4, Patch Set 3, , Patch Set 5, Patch Set 1 and , Patch Set 2. They ask me why I can't put them in the correct order.

Although Microsoft don't provide any guidance on this, it is possible by following the steps described here:
