I should be able to order the "legend" and the values for each legend category in a stacked bar chart. This is similar to "series order" feature in Excel

RE: Custom order for legend

Can't believe this functionality is still missing. It should be default sorting status... No workaround I found works for dynamic rankings based on other Graphs slicers...

RE: Custom order for legend

Its a simple request that would add just another layer of customization instead of having to do work arounds.

RE: Custom order for legend

Seriously three years and still nothing for something so basic and so important....
I mean what's the point of a stack bar if it's not sorted by column ?

RE: Custom order for legend

Essential for having a chart that looks appealing as time moves to the right. Without the ability to sort the order, you are left with "white space" when things taper off. Having the ability to place the longest running activities on the bottom would ensure minimal gaps.

RE: Custom order for legend

This feature is critical to have useful visuals. Currently, line graphs with more than 15 graphs are very difficult to analyze since there is no good way to determine which lines have the most impact.

RE: Custom order for legend

Still a feature that is needed: Makes the visual flow and subsequent interpretation easier for users. UX is still important and needs to be supported through features like this.

Appreciating the work in the other ideas and hope this can be considered very soon...

RE: Custom order for legend

Just ran into the exact same need. I'd like to sort by rank in the overall data set. (i.e. for me this would put what is by far always the tallest bar on the bottom of the stack.)
