I should be able to order the "legend" and the values for each legend category in a stacked bar chart. This is similar to "series order" feature in Excel

RE: Custom order for legend

So much of this. As Anne said, sometimes we don't want it in alphabetical order...

RE: Custom order for legend

I would like the feature so that I can sort survey response categories (for example: Strongly Agree, Agree, Disagree, Strongly Disagree)

It would very helpful if when working in the data modeling that we could rearrange the ordering of the Fields displayed in the right pane.

RE: Custom order for legend

Hi,
Yes, I think this is good feature to have because let me give example, I have bar graph with Actual and Forecast values. Now If I want to show Forecast bar before Actual, so that we visualize how is company’s achievement against forecast. I am not able to change order of bar/legends.

RE: Custom order for legend

One work-around is to name the items in the legend with an appropriate number of blank spaces, so that when Power BI alphabetizes them, the leading spaces determine the order. So your categories could be:
" Strongly Agree"
" Agree"
" Disagree"
"Strongly Disagree"
