I should be able to order the "legend" and the values for each legend category in a stacked bar chart. This is similar to "series order" feature in Excel

RE: Custom order for legend
This is crucial in understanding a dashboard. It's crazy that this is not a feature in Power BI.
RE: Custom order for legend
How is this still not implemented?!
RE: Custom order for legend
Please add this!
In the meantime I manage to workaround the issue by making a calculated column and giving the different markers names that would be in numerical order from the bottom to the top of the stacked bar chart.
If(
something = this;
"1 - Name of legend to be placed on the bottom";
"2 - Name of legend to be placed second from the bottom"
)
Not pretty, but it works faster than the 6 measures I had to use before.
RE: Custom order for legend
Sheesh this would be really useful
RE: Custom order for legend

RE: Custom order for legend
why doesn't powerbi come with a host of features that were basic and completely necessary in excel 20 years ago? something something modern data vizualization, AI quantum teleportation hurr hurr hurr
RE: Custom order for legend
Seriously this is still not out yet!! How do you expect end users to understand when I export the dashboard as pdf and send it over??
How will they understand what is impacting the most, when its not sort by values?
