CompletedSave Power BI report to Report Server with data source other than Analysis Services

At the moment it is only possible to save a Power BI report with data source Analysis Services to the Report Server. With any other data source you get a error, that only Analysis Services is supported. Please add the possibility to save reports with other data sources to Report Server.

Enabling to connect to SQL Server Data Sources would be a huge step forward establishing Power BI On-Premises and ramping up Enterprises to leverage the Power BI Cloud Service in the future! - Great work and please keep it up!

When connected to a SSAS the option Enter data is greyed out. I want to use this option for parameter fields. For example I used a fake query in my tabular model to get Numbers Or category items in PowerBI desktop that I use for filtering / slicers: for example 5,10,15,20,50 all for a top x slicer, don’t want to use my tabular model to get these values in Power Bi.

Any idea when connectors will be available? Early third quarter 2017?
At a minimum connecting to SQL Server is greatly holding back adoption of the product and allowing Tableau to get momentum. It seems strange that the on premise solution is not allowing the same connectors as the cloud version. Companies need to be able to have a hybrid solution and an easy cloud migrations. The lack of this functionality is hurting implementing efforts and some vendors already have this capability.

My agency would love to use this product but only using analysis cubes makes this much less desirable. Being able to have a regular SQL server connection to create reports off of views and tables on the report server would help this be more of a Tableau alternative.

Using the Power BI Report server I would like to be able to connect to a SQL Server Database data source rather than just an analysis services cube

Please add support to use MySQL in Power BI Technical Preview to create reports on our server. Currently I can't use SSRS and power BI Technical preview to create reports for database on MySQL
