request Microsoft Development Team to provide the option to uncheck the option “Encrypted Connection” in the PowerBI Service
As Microsoft has done it perfectly and correctly and is currently available in the PowerBI Desktop connection settings.
By doing so when creating an unencrypted dataset and a report it will refresh perfectly in the future.
1. SOLUTION to be added to the Microsoft Knowledge base?
For your Information, the workaround is to create a DATAFLOW whereby in the PowerBI Service from the Settings/ Manage connections and gateways , luckily it is possible to UNCHECK the encrypted connection (by using this no need to configure a certificate locally), that is logical.
