If there are any performance issues in database this would lock down the table...
I even observed that reports doesnt get published until the refresh is done...
Yes - Please can we have a cancel / stop refresh - sometimes I can come across ones that are refreshing and taking too long and still in progress - I would like to stop this refresh but there are no options to do this.
Please can this be implemented???
This is so needed .
Please consider this!
Please add this feature. It is important to our CI/CD pipeline.

We need this for automated deployments for CI/CD pipelines , please consider.
Please give us the ability to cancel ongoing dataset refresh operations. We need this primarily for CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments and data set refresh operations.
I'd really like to see this being included, stuck refreshes can cause a mess in the development cycle.
We need this! Specially because sometimes the refresh takes way more time that expected and then there are multiple refreshes happening at the same time which makes the refresh even slower...
Please give us a way to cancel a refresh. When something has clearly gone wrong and the refresh is in progress indefinitely there is nothing to do but wait for it to time out. If you're luck you can identify processes from source data and kill them manually, hoping this will cause the refresh to fail. But if it's not even reading from the database and it is just hanging there "refreshing" forever, there needs to be a way to kill it. This is currently affecting an important production dataset. It's maddening.
Thanks!
