When using Pipeline activities that references other Fabric items like notebooks, data flows and pipelines and use the option “Add dynamic content” you need to specify the object id. This is less than ideal when working with metadata driven pipelines and CI/CD as promoting an item – like a notebook – to a new workspace will give it a new object ID.

It would be great if we could have a way to reference fabric items in their relative path when working with dynamic content in activities. So, for example if you have a pipeline notebook activity referencing notebooks in the same workspace to use syntax like this: .\NOTEBOOK_NAME - Where the .\ would mean that we are referring to a notebook in the same workspace.

This idea is similar to another highly voted idea I have tried to link but am not able to named "Data Pipelines - Create Relative Connection to Warehouse/Lakehouse/KQL DB" - but that idea only considers connections not Fabric items.
