The "Enable SQL Server Failover support" option is extremely valuable - but I question why this option is not checked by default for all new connections. I can not conceive of a suite of scenarios where this would be a poor choice. Perhaps, in individual cases, one might wish to not use the secondary, but as a general rule of thumb, PowerBI should help to promote the good practice of using readonly secondaries.
