To resolve inconsistency and confusion caused by varying styles and customization levels of tooltip types, it would be a good idea to consolidate tooltip options limiting future tooltip offerings to only Default tooltip and Canvas tooltip, with enhancements like re-arranged series behaviors, advanced formatting settings, plus availability of callout, indicators, and series segments, to significantly improve user experience.
