Matrix / table - Allow user to select/de-select/rearrange relevant columns like in the decomposition tree

We need more dynamic tools that allow the user to interact properly with data.

One major issue for must users is that insights are limited to the context chosen by the developer.

The decomposition tree goes some way to help solve this issue as once a category is added to the tree the user can select and de-select the specific category needed – be it date/time, type or place. Thus allowing the user to define which insights are relevant in a specific context.

If this could be added to the matrix visual it increase insights and user engagement 10 fold. Is it is the + function is good but it is limited to expanding/collapsing the chosen sequence. Imagine if the developer could specify a number of available categories and set up a standard view, but the user could rearrange and select/de-select.
