Change Parameters and Data Sources for Data Pipelines after Deployment in Deployment Pipelines

Summary:

• Customer wanted to automatically change parameters and data sources within data pipelines after deploying those data pipelines from the Development workspace to the Test workspace.

• Customer ideally wants a native Power BI solution such as setting rules for Data Pipelines to make those changes, but this is not supported for Data pipelines in the Deployment pipeline.

• Customer has also been trying different Data pipeline APIs but these API only us to change the Data pipeline name and description.

• Customer also wanted to use Service Principals, but this is not currently supported for Data pipeline APIs.

Ask:

• Could you please help us find a solution that could work for the customer as he has been trying to find workarounds using the APIs but has been unable to make the changes, he wants to make with regards to overriding Pipelines after deployment.
