When you have a lot of visual in a page become difficult to remove one by one all the interaction between a visual and the others. It will be useful to have an option to remove all the interaction

RE: Option to remove all interaction of a visual

When a report has multiple visuals, cards, slicers etc. this is very tedious indeed to cycle through every visual that needs interactions disabled.

RE: Option to remove all interaction of a visual

stopping interactions for one particular visual is a headache. when more than 20 viz in a page, i have to click 20 times to disable an interaction for one specific viz.

By the way, Kieran Leigh's suggestion would be perfect.

Editing interactions can be extremely annoying, especially when the icons overlap with other visuals. This feature is long overdue.

RE: Option to remove all interaction of a visual

I want to create a visual that shows the state of a sync slicer in a compact way. This would sit in the report footer and avoid having to show the slicer on every page.To set this up, I would need to remove all current and future interactions from the visual, except for the one that relates to the sync slicer. As another comment suggested, an interactions panel would help a lot in setting this up. I would suggest the following features: A list of all the possible interactions with the currently selected object, the interaction, and a way to change them Interactions split into two tabs - "affecting this object" and "what this object affects" Buttons in the tabs to clear all current interactionsA way to set a default "interaction affecting this object", including "none"A way to determine which object in the interaction list is which. Maybe pressing the object name in the list could offer a secondary highlight distinct from the selection highlight? The interactions panel could also solve the problem where if objects are close to one another, often it is not clear which set of interaction controls apply to which object. This would depend on the highlighting feature (or otherwise) as suggested above.

This is a great idea. Why has this been sitting here for 2+ years? BI needs to have some functionality on this topic.

There is an option to do this under File > Options and Settings > Options > Current File > Query reduction > and checking Disabling cross highlighting/filtering by default. However, this setting does not apply to Certified Custom visuals :-( can we get this feature updated to apply to Certified custom visuals, thanks!

This would make a HUGE difference for visual-busy reports.

A view similar to Sync Slicers would be very helpful to manage interactions.

RE: Option to remove all interaction of a visual

I would really appreciate this feature as well. Ideally I would like to create groups of visuals that would not interact with visuals in another group.
