Event retrieval start date parameter set for Source only applies to output data (destination messages), and for now, it's ignored by Partial Data Preview pane on Schema configuration.
It would be helpful being able to discard a period with known issues from Preview, avoiding errors during this configuration.

This is a good idea to enable some control over the data that is used for schema configuration. We will evauate how prevalent this is and prioritize.
