The recent addition of conditional formatting for values is wonderful. However, it would be great to have the ability format subtotals and totals, as the variation on those fields are often even more important to draw attention to.

Thanks everyone for your votes on this feature! With the April 2020 release of Power BI Desktop this is now available! https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/power-bi-desktop-april-2020-feature-summary/#_Conditional_formatting Please keep commenting on this feature with other feedback, we check the Completed items as well as ones that are still active.

4 years and it's still not on the roadmap???

Also, conditional formatting of the row headers would be a huge improvement!!!

Please, please add this in. Also, conditional formatting for matrix row header values would be super useful. So, for example, the word 'Total' in the row header can be given another colour and then the conditional formatting can work on the total row to give the same colour. Don't let me down Microsoft :)

Please Make it happen can't wait so such a simple need!

Guys, I hope this is resolved at the earliest. We cannot go back to our clients and tell them that this update has been waiting to come up since 4 years. I hope this update is pushed at the earliest. Thanks and Cheers!
