Conditional Formatting for Total and Subtotals in Matrices

The recent addition of conditional formatting for values is wonderful. However, it would be great to have the ability format subtotals and totals, as the variation on those fields are often even more important to draw attention to.

How is this not in from the very start? And not just conditional... even simple formatting of subtotals/totals...

Lots of complaints from my workplace that the totals are not conditionally formatted but the values are. Seems that totals are the point??

Agree that often times it is the summary rows that the most attention is placed on. Not having the ability to set conditional formatting makes for a confusing message.
