The recent addition of conditional formatting for values is wonderful. However, it would be great to have the ability format subtotals and totals, as the variation on those fields are often even more important to draw attention to.

We need this functionality, it ruins the whole concept of a dashboard when you realize you don't have an option for color coding subtotals and totals, why limit? If you don't want color coding for totals then enable on and off, other tools has it and is a decision point to go to another tool when people realize is not possible.

RE: Conditional Formatting for Total and Subtotals in Matrices

It is crazy that you need to go to the lowest level of data to see conditional color formatting. We need to see RED for ANY negative values (including subtotals). If you can't look at aggregated data, what is the point of visualizations and summarized reporting? This is a serious gap- all other reporting tools we work with have this. Any number or field regardless of whether it is a subtotal should be able to have conditional formatting.

The lack of this formatting causes no end of confusion, e.g. red when below zero on the rows but the black - but still below zero - at the subtotal level. It really needs sorting.

Yes this is a must please! I need this for a matrix calculating deltas and it doesn't look great when the values have conditional formatting but the subtotals/totals do not...
