Totals in stacked column charts

During several presentations I get questions regarding the total of stacked columns. In the current situation you can select to label all the parts of the stacked column but no grand total. I would like to see the option to add a label to the Visuals which shows the total of the stacked column (this counts for values only). Ideally this total would deviate together with the drilldowns you select, so it stays interactive whatever filters you select or subsets you create on your dashboard.

must needed..alternatively I am having a card for each legend and placed on top of each bars, which is not at all preferable but serves my need for now

This is a great idea!

This would also solve a similar issue I am having with data labels on dates where the total is 0 - each category is too small to contain the label, so no label is shown (in this case the total would still show 0)

This is great. I have been asked all the time to manually add the total in the stack bar charts.

We def. need this! I feel like this should be very easy feature add. And great if we didn't have to use a secondary axis as well.

It would be great if the combined total of the Stacked Column could be used for the "Analyze - Explain the Increase/Decrease" feature. Currently, only differences in individual segments can be analyzed.

Seems like a relatively "quick win" feature to add but would make a huge difference (I'm not a coding expert) Like others I have to add cards above each bar which is a pain.

Also, this idea has been on the go since October 2015!! https://ideas.powerbi.com/forums/265200-power-bi-ideas/suggestions/10214016-display-total-value-of-a-bar-on-a-stacked-bar-char

Can't believe this is not implemented yet. Such a basic feature with so much value.
