Make functions refreshable when the data source is a parameter of the function

Like discussed here: http://community.powerbi.com/t5/Integrations-with-Files-and/Refreshing-queries-with-functions-doens-t-work/td-p/2450 - queries where data access happens inside a function and where the data source is dependent on parameters to the function should be refreshable.

Hmm how else are we supposed to deal with paginated APIs?? Between this and the much-demanded and delayed incremental updates requirement, MS does seem to have an issue with large datasets.

Which isn't the most brilliant thing for a business intelligence tool.

Its so frustrating when I can build a report in desktop, have it all working perfectly and then as soon as I publish it things no longer work... please stop doing this!

This is a must requirement for me as well, as I am refreshing the data from Jira web with pagination manually.

This is a HUGE requirement for Power BI Service. Need to refresh SharePoint list data using a function.

This is a much needed feature! Note that a workaround is to use PowerBI Report Server on premise, the refresh works with functions.

Power BI is a great tool, but this limitation makes it very weak. please solve quickly

As much as functions are stressed in the Power BI and Power Query Deep Dive presentations, it is instrumental to allow us to use functions to fully utilize the capabilities of Power BI. I am currently refreshing and republishing the data manually several times a day, which over time, will drive us to search for another solution.
