At this time, a gateway will not function properly if you are using data sources and one is online and one is on-prem. As soon as the online data source is added, the gateway is designed to gray out because Power BI interprets that it is no longer needed. I would like to be able to combine data sources from both on-prem and online sources together with the use of gateways.

vamo arriba!

I'm so confused about what works and what doesn't work yet with this. I have one report that works, the other one doesn't work with the gateway.

R

When will we be able to use full mashup capability (planned for late 2017)?

R

Can you please provide an estimated delivery date?

R

Any update on this please?

R

Really need an update on this!

R

Soon (TM) since nov 2017.
This is a major problem.

To confirm, will the recent gateway update enable me to combine data from on-prem SQL and online Google Analytics data (OAuth2 login)

?

R

Unbelievable that this is still not working yet. I think it is a major requirement to combine on-premises datasources and online datasources using an enterprise gateway.

We too have this issue. Currently trying to combine a local MySQL DB link with some online resources and coming up against numerous issues.

Most recently, one of your technicians suggested I move from using OneDrive files (which ARE recognised by the gateway) to data in a Sharepoint list, but it now throws an error saying credentials are not right...

We are trying to get the online file to work as an input to an 'invoke custom function'. Should be straightforward, but it's being a nightmare.
