    We need this. Without it, I have to open a hole for MySQL (yikes) or replicate a db.

    I is a showstopper. Power BI is unusable without SSH.

    Dump the gateway! Allow direct connections to MySQL.

    SSH connection is pretty vital for most cases where you would need MySQL. Allowing direct remote connections to databases is rarely an option.
