Since the PBIX is a zip file, why not use the compression option of the format? there are a lot of data files which are full of large volumes of numbers. I can even rename the .pbix to .zip, open it compress the data model and rename it back.... why not automatically save as compressed?
At least give us a saving option to try and compress.
