Now that you can sync selections in a slicer over multiple report pages, this becomes a leading way of making selections in your reports. This is a very nice feature ! But now we have two systems of making selections that don't work together very well.
When you make a selection in a slicer, it doesn't interact with the values of the report filters. The values in the report or page level filters are not "sliced" by the filter in the report. This is sometimes confusing for the end user, and is a negative point in the user experience.
Could you work on this?
