Incremental Refresh for PBI Desktop

Hi All,

I am wondering why incremental refresh is not enabled for Power BI desktop - as much as I understand the fact that it will increase the size of PBI file, it will make Non-Pro Students as well as People who may want to accumulate web sources easy to do so - without the worry of getting a pro license - which is neither easy -as to get a pro license - you would need an office subscription.

I believe it should be the end-users choice to decide if they would want to use the PBI Desktop file with the incremental refresh enabled or not.

It's all too costly for people who may want to develop custom solutions for their personal analysis to get a pro license with the current limitations.
