Hello,

In our organization, we have disabled 'Allow XMLA endpoints and Analyse in Excel' from Tenant Settings in Admin Portal. This is a business requirement as we want to restrict users from using this functionality.

We had a requirement where we had to build a Composite Power BI Data Model by connecting to more than one Power BI Datasets. We found that this functionality does not work until we enable 'Allow XMLA endpoints and Analyse in Excel' from Tenant Settings in Admin Portal. So, at the moment, we cannot use the concept of composite data model even if we need it badly.

It would be good to separate out the 2 features from Power Bi features. We want the flexibility to use composite models and also disable Analyse in Excel for users at the same time.
