Enable selection of the default scroll position for the x-axis on a chart. For example, on a line chart with dates as the x-axis, when not all of the data can display in the view at once, the scroll defaults to the beginning/left end of the x-axis and the most recent dates are at the far end causing the end user to always have to scroll to see the most recent data. If you could set the visual to default to the right end, then the user would only have to scroll if they wanted to see more history.

RE: Set default x axis scrolling position

When viewing a series of weeks, logically the newest week is at the Right of the chart. This should be the default view, but I can not do this since it is not a feature. I can not reduce the number of weeks, since they want all of the weeks for 5 years. Can't make the page bigger for just this visual.

How many votes do we need to get this feature implemented?Such a small thing yet makes a huge difference in visualizing data.

RE: Set default x axis scrolling position

A lot of comments about sorting the x axis the other way, well, if you're dealing with a large set of years it goes against the natural view of left to right. So, if you're trying to accumulate something on the line, it makes it look like the accumulation is going down, rather than up. very confusing to the user.Reason 2347293874 why Qlik > PowerBi
