I asked this question during the Getting Started with Microsoft Fabric in 60 Minutes presentation on 2/13/2024: Will Power BI be getting a built-in accessibility checker, like Excel? Is Microsoft Fabric w/Power BI accessible? There used to be an opinion one could not use DAX and create accessible Power BI reports. Is this not true or no longer true?
The answer was:
I assume you are already familiar with this documentation page. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/create-reports/desktop-accessibility-creating-reports
"Power BI Accessibility checker" seems like a great idea! You should share it with the product team on the Ideas website: https://ideas.fabric.microsoft.com/ideas/
My organization requires all outward-facing data analytics resources are accessible for legal reasons.

RE: Power BI Accessibility checker
This is something which is needed. Power BI's likely the most visual tool after PowerPoint, and yet there's no simple way to test a report while developing.
