The Power BI REST api collection doesn't have an end point for workspace admins to programmatically rename the Workspace/group. Only Tenant admins, with Admin API - 'Admin - Groups UpdateGroupAsAdmin' can do that.
We use Power BI embed heavily in 'app owns data' model. Our SPNs are granted Workspace Admin rights and are not given tenant admin rights. It's limiting our ability to provide a seamless Power BI embed integration with our business applications.
Power BI REST API Groups collection should facilitate the option to rename the workspace.
