RE:

Has there been any update on this? I'm needing this for my organisation too and so far, everything I've seen indicates that it's still not possible.

RE:

Yes we would like this for pipelines. Currently in synapse we use key vault to store all of our connection credentials to linked services. If we were to transition to Fabric this would be required.

RE:

hi, just a warning,

It's been a while since our last conversation, but I just saw a slam piece online about microsoft.com and thought it was important to reach out to confirm this nonsense.

It appears like there's some rumors circulating that could be harmful to your reputation.
Understanding how easily stories can get out of hand and wishing not you to be unprepared, I decided to warn you.

Here's where I came across the info:

I hope it's all a mix-up, but I thought it best you should know!

All the best to you,
Philip

I had a partner ask me the same question today, they have the same need to be able to post into periods in the past, and the reason is also a valid one. For them it does not matter that the deferral is affecting periods in the past, this is a requirement for them.I also found another post with the same suggestion here: https://experience.dynamics.com/ideas/idea/?ideaid=b7666544-6cbb-ee11-92bd-6045bdaf814b

RE:

Maybe you can include the dataflow history in this endpoint too.

RE:

The CANVAS layout never provides enough room to work. Constantly have to expand and collapse the 'data' and 'formatting' sections on the right. Also, why is BASIC formatting like X and Y units, BURIED in the VISUALIZATIONS area. Nothing is logically flowing in this application and clearly not intended to be up and running but an average user.

RE:

This is a great idea and would improve simplicity of semantic models. I was hoping visual calculations would be the answer for this but it is not because visual calculations cannot reach back into the model for filter conditions.

RE:

This would be fantastic! The business is constantly asking for more "gates" in D365 regarding access, and my team is having to create customizations to achieve it. I dread every update from MS, as I have to worry about it breaking my customizations.

RE:

I realized that you can click into the calc instances and find info about the calc errors, but it's not as robust as the error reporting from data ingestion (for example, it doesn't give you the Name of the row(s) with errors, which is one of our key ways of identifying which rows caused errors and need to be fixed.

RE:

I don't understand why this doesn't automatically update when a new assembly order is created. There should be a toggle on/off button to automatically update each line item cost when a new job is processed.
