    create a direct generic mongodb server connector via tcp 27017, istead use 3rd part odbs driver.

    Surely this will also allow us to also connect to DocumentDB/Cosmos DB?!?! This is essential for business reporting. Please add this connector so that I can connect to MongoDB.

    With MongoDB offered as an Azure service I'd really hope to be able to connect to it with Power BI as a first class citizen via an official supported method

    I am building a system using MongoDB, and it would be extremely helpful to not have to code up an additional module that dumps the data to SQL first before I am able to build dashboards using MongoDB. I really think that this is a missed opportunity for PowerBI at the moment.
