Being able to intergrade Power BI dashboards and reports into a Power Point deck will allow Power BI leapfrog the competition as a solid differentiation play and also in terms of value to end users.

I'm happy to share that "Export to PowerPoint" is available as a Preview feature, now in powerbi.com. Still waiting for an update - as there is nothing about PPT integration with May release.

It would be a great advantage if the exported dashboard to Powerpoint has a direct data connection to the source database such as SAP Dashboard Designer previously [Xcelsius]. Excel PowerView has similar functionality but with a big drew back that it is required SharePoint Enterprise addition where not everyone can afford it. We are looking for something without a mediation between the tool and the source.

Linking tiles as pictures would help too. I'm envisioning adding Power Bi tiles to my PowerPoint presentations and with a quick refresh have then update. I know you guys can do it!
