I work in a big insurance company and due to security reasons, we can't upload anything to the cloud / the power BI web services.
However, we love and use the Power Bi desktop to create beautiful internal reports. but we need to share them internally with slides.
we need a way to export reports directly from the power BI desktop to PowerPoint (without publishing the report to the web)
This is a must have feature for all the analysts in my team and will love to have your support on that.

I work for an insurance company, and we're not allowed to publish data to the internet. Our actuaries are currently having to take screenshots from PowerBI desktop, to use in their presentations. We are trying to adopt PowerBI around the company, however not being able to save the desktop output as PDF, or incorporate into PowerPoint, is a real problem. We can publish to the on-premise report server, but that does not have a PDF or Powerpoint option.
This is a world-class reporting tool, let down by the lack of such basic features. Please, can you resolve this in a future release.

I feel the painof this group. My office hs similar issues wehere we need this tool to provide exorts of the dashboard and quality printing so that our manaers can function beyond the dashboard with the information. We think Power BI is an exceptional tool with many restrictions. Exporting with many different formats would be extremely helpful.

I'm having to take screen shots to share with executives as they don't/won't have PowerBI Desktop installed and cannot share to the cloud.

Hello,
Requesting this same feature to be enabled on behalf of a London based FTSE 10 Fast moving consumer good company. We cannot as an enterprise accept all PowerBI use cases in to the cloud just yet. Our user community who cannot go in to the cloud and use the PowerBI online service are very annoyed that the desktop does not provide the capability to export to PPT and PDF which is allowed with the FREE (STANDARD) O365 licensing online version. Please can this be prioritised by the development team as it would be a big win for enterprise organisations with this problem. This limitation is causing negative PR for the product at this point in time internally.
