I would like to create a hyperlink, which doesn't start with http or https.
It is a link to a page in Microsoft Dynamics NAV.
Is it possible to create such a link?

Hi MS Team, yes please add this functionality to PBi desktop, we are so many (and still growing) looking for this option to be available in 2024. That would be super useful from a company standpoint 👍

All of our files sit on an internal on-premise network share, not OneDrive (sorry Microsoft, not everyone can use the cloud) and I need the ability to hyperlink to a Windows file path without file:// or http://It's 2023 Microsoft. Can we please offer this as a feature?

This is where my search for a solution ends? Very disappointing. It's 2023 in between....

Very surprised this is still an open request going back to 2016. I dont understand how this is even a problem. As stated on another comment, someone had to make the decision to limit the functionality to only "HTTP" prefixed URIs. Just remove it!

Definitely a good idea, would be great if i could use URIs to open certain things within other programs via the dashboard!

How is this even on a TODO list. You had to spend time and effort to limit the hyperlink to begin with. Just turn that off. I have hundreds of links that use a custom in house link that isn't going to take my users to the WWW.
