The bookmark feature looks great. Would it be useful if there is added functionality which allows subscriptions to be on bookmarks for a report?

RE: Subscriptions to Bookmarks
Please update votes from the merged idea !!!This is an important feature !
RE: Subscriptions to Bookmarks
yes, totally agree. This would make the subscription much more powerful. It is not usable for us yet.Eric
RE: Subscriptions to Bookmarks
Yes!!! This would make my commute so much easier to have the info automatically emailed to me in the morning.
RE: Subscriptions to Bookmarks
this idea was merged with Microsoft Idea (powerbi.com) which already has 1087 votes. Why this one has only ~400?
RE: Subscriptions to Bookmarks
We need this feature badly. Without this, the subscription is not very useful. People are mostly not interested in the complete report, but only in the parts of their bookmark with specific filters applied! There is more than one idea here on the forums for this, merged, but the votes were not merged. We have a lot of votes for this topic, more than 1.5k! Please add this to your timeline!
RE: Subscriptions to Bookmarks
Without the ability to use bookmarks for scheduled reports, we are looking at having to create multiple versions (up to 70 for some reports!) of the same report to match functionality that users are used to from our previous reporting platform - creating a significant, unnecessary administrative burden. This feature is essential for large organisations.
RE: Subscriptions to Bookmarks
As today the subscription is a great option but lack of 2 features that can really make a difference:
- have an option to include all report pages in the PDF (like when you manually export to pdf the report)
- have an option to select a bookmark (so from same report I can have different views for different people)
It's true that the purpose of Power BI is to have people going in and work on it dynamically. But we always have the needs to send some PDF to CIO, CEO, SVP and this takes a lot of manual work.
RE: Subscriptions to Bookmarks
Yes - would be a great help!We have a number of standard filter settings on complex reports for different parts of the organization, currently to get subscriptions for these we apply bookmarked settings and then duplicate the page so it can be used for subscription. It would be much more elegant to be able to subscribe to a bookmarked view and then there's no need to duplicate pages to distribute them. Probably a better solution than the option to subscribed to hidden pages being reinstated.
