RE: Improve the Advanced Query Editor
Hello,
Any update on the M Intellisense? Target was end of 2016, now 2017 is about to end!
RE: Improve the Advanced Query Editor
This is the major missing piece in Power Query, IMO.
The inbuilt functions are really well organized, but making them more discoverable and getting some help with the required parameters would speed up the workflow a lot.
RE: Improve the Advanced Query Editor
Please do implement this. Most of my code is WALLOFTEXT and hard to deal with.
RE: Improve the Advanced Query Editor
Please please please bring this along :)
RE: Improve the Advanced Query Editor
Needs to be at least as good as the DAX / R-script support. Admittedly, constrained by needing to be compatible with script generation, but some decent IntelliSense is basic, especially as many users may not have the deep experience needed to use Power query properly
RE: Improve the Advanced Query Editor
Really needed feature
RE: Improve the Advanced Query Editor
Give us please IntelliSense for M!
RE: Improve the Advanced Query Editor
Hello,
Any update on the M IntelliSense ?
The fact that it was released for VS is a positive signal but it's been months now since then and we are all holding our breaths here pretty much.
RE: Improve the Advanced Query Editor
Hi - Any update on this as it would be really useful. FYI you could follow along making it work with Notepad++ here

RE: Improve the Advanced Query Editor
DAX authoring is significantly improved with the latest SSDT and SSMS releases and we know that M is built into SSAS 2017. Given its importance to PBI and MSBI projects, I'm hopeful the M development/authoring experience is improved soon. Any updates? :)
