The new Filter Pane experience is really nice. However, the count numbers next to the selection boxes in the Basic drop downs can be confusing to users - they can have no relevance to what is showing on the page. Please add functionality to where these counts be toggled off!

RE: Toggle Counts on/off in Filter Pane

Please remove the filter count, its very misleading and not helpful and users keep asking what are these values count

(Thanks to SGriga for this tip): Raghavender did a great job explaining how this can be done with Tabular Editor. I tested it and it worked like magic. Here is the blog post: https://www.winwire.com/blog/filters-in-power-bi/

RE: Toggle Counts on/off in Filter Pane

We get a lot of complaints about this, even users refusing to use the filterbar. Please change this!

These numbers are almost ALWAYS wrong (or the very least misleading). Unless there is only a single filter, with no other slices involved, these numbers do not show valuable information to the end user. The very limited set of use cases where this number if valuable means there should be a way to turn these off.

RE: Toggle Counts on/off in Filter Pane

We're having to use space on the report pages for filters because the counts do not reflect the DAX counts being reported on. We cannot show the incorrect counts to our end users, as it is creating a lack of confidence that the reports are reporting the correct results!

RE: Toggle Counts on/off in Filter Pane

I just received a ticket from our end users stating that our report is wrong because this number doesn't align with the results in the report. Please allow us to remove this number from the filter pane.

Please allow us to turn off this feature. It is very confusing to end users. Thank you
