    Add "monthly" as a scheduled refresh option

    Pro users have the ability to schedule refresh for daily (intra day) and weekly. For some datasets, monthly is the right cadence. Can we have a scheduled refresh option that is Monthly (and lets us choose which day of the month the refresh is to occur)?

    Weekly reports are not synced with other reporting systems. Trending Monthly is a standard for many distributed reports.

    Please add monthly as a refresh option. Most healthcare reports are refreshed monthly.

    I was about to put an idea up to this effect - An option similar to the subscription settings for users - the ability to select ranges or multiple days under a Monthly scope would massively help..

    Any News on this? We are going to use Power Automate but it is going to be difficult for some of the users as they will not be able to directly see the refresh.Also as someone else mentioned - what about stopping a dataset refresh? Thanks

    Fantastic idea. I would suggest also to add the option to choose whether the "scheduled refresh" should stop trying to refresh after 4 attempts.

    I don't think anyone from Microsoft is looking at these comments! And also, who on the earth from Microsoft has approved the idea of not including "MONTHLY REFRESH" option?

    Power Automate is fine in a pinch but leads to confused/concerned users because in the workspace it appears that the dataset isn't scheduled to refresh. A monthly refresh schedule is a basic, basic feature that should have shipped with Power BI years ago.
