We have the same issue and I would suggest to add the parameters on the batch dialog similar to those on: Subscription billing / Revenue and expense deferrals / Periodic tasks / Recognition processing i.e. "Cutoff date" and possibly "Override transaction date" and "Transaction date".

We will soon be adding support for COLLATE clause in warehouse. With this, you will have the ability to specify collations of individual columns, rather than relying solely on the artifact level collation.

This feature is generally available in Warehouse as of 10/9. Please note that, once a warehouse is created, the collation setting cannot be changed. At this time, collation of an existing DW cannot be changed.
