It should be good if we can set Drill Mode ON/OFF by DEFAULT instead of clicking manually on the arrow every time on report.

We have improved this by allowing the drill action to take place inside the tooltip. Marking as completed. We will do more updates here but the initial item has been addressed.

User base finds it frustrating that they need to manually activate drill-down. Beside, you have a solid stream of comments dating back to February 2016 indicating this is needed - fulfill the need!

Please enable drill down as default as an option in Power BI. Most users do not understand that they have to click on an arrow each time they load the dashboard - it is frustrating!

Please enable - my reports are useless without this function permanently in place. Relying on senior management to press a button is unlikely, looking at using alternative software until this is reviewed and in place.
