Matrix visuals could significantly enhance the user experience by emulating Excel's intuitive sorting, searching, and filtering capabilities, even for hierarchical columns. This idea would the current limitation in Power BI's matrix visuals, which lack a comparable experience to Excel's established standard for data manipulation.

Really. Allowing a "no sort" option should not be difficult. Time-based metrics such as quarter-to-date look very confusing to innocent browsers who might accidentally click a column header. We all know that turning a feature OFF via direct user decision should not be a major undertaking.

Yeah

Please add. I need to recreate tables over and over when a column is accidentally click. These are complex table and just sorting the first column or removing and replacing the sorted column does not help.

sort ascending / sort descending / no sort .... cant be too difficult surely? That triangle is so annoying when you just want to show basic info
