Support for exporting Power BI report to PowerPoint. The feature is available in Power BI service (Preview).

Hi everyone, We’re not planning to bring this feature to Power BI Report Server for Power BI Reports due Some engineering challenges to bring the current architecture for this in the service to the on-prem server product. You’ll of course continue to have the ability to export to PPT for RDL reports in the server product. Chris

Please enable to select Pages/Tabs while exporting to PowerPoint as sometimes, we don't need all pages in our report.

Export to Powerpoint feature is not available at all. It says it is available in Microsoft docs. But still I cannot see that feature.

So after two year of anticipation, you are saying that your developers don't know how to combine two products in the same company.
And that we can get back to using a third product that no body was using before because it was simply ugly (SSRS).
You cannot push people to use your cloud services by taking out small important functionalities from the on-prem one! You are loosing a huge chunk of the market! I know cloud services generate more money, but instead, you should have thought of a better licensing for the on-prem report server...
You have a huge opportunity but you are letting it slip... What if an attack was done on your servers and they were able to get in and all of your clients data and server were jeopardized...?

This is very unfortunate. Do you plan to allow export to PDF or print all pages (now you can only print 1 page at a time which is no good if you have a big report that needs printing/exporting frequently). Or same engineering challenges.

this would be an important inclusion to the on-prem Power Bi server users. It feels like on-prem is starting to lag behind the online version by some margin now

Would be great if the exported content can be editable in PowerPoint. That would be a tremendous help!

To Microsoft: Is it currently being developed? I remember Power BI used to allow the option of exporting to PowerPoint, but the offered feature disappeared shortly after (why was it taken away?). Please bring it back! We love this product as well as all other MS products. If they can all work together seamlessly, that would make MS Office that much more valuable!

When exporting to Powerpoint, we need the option to keep the slicers selected!
