Pro users have the ability to schedule refresh for daily (intra day) and weekly. For some datasets, monthly is the right cadence. Can we have a scheduled refresh option that is Monthly (and lets us choose which day of the month the refresh is to occur)?

This would be great to have. My current workaround is to create a PowerAutomate script that refreshes my PBI dataset, since PowerAutomate has the monthly option at specific days/hours. But having it built in to PBI should be the norm.

Not just monthly. Should allow the following as options - DailyHourlyEvery X Minute(s); Select 'Every X Minute(s)', then allow user to provide the value for X.

I am surprised this feature was requested 9 years ago in 2015, and it's been "under review" since 10/21/2022, still no resolution. This is such a basic request, I don't get it. I have reports refreshing daily and using processing resources that I shouldn't need to account for because I can't schedule it monthly. Weekly is not an option because first day of the month does not fall in line with a weekly refresh.

RE: Add "monthly" as a scheduled refresh option

I can't believe this is still not an option. I have data that only refreshes once a month but no capability to schedule the report to only refresh monthly. It's a waste of resources. I know there have been comments from Microsoft about using PowerAutomate to trigger refreshes, but that's yet another thing for IT to have to manage. And, if we use that strategy, how am I to determine if planned refreshes actually occurred? It's unfortunate that the scheduling functionality of the service is LESS THAN the scheduling functionality of Power BI Report Server.

Holy moly, why is this question even needing to be asked? Why is this not available?

I currently schedule jobs to run weekly because monthly is not an option. Microsoft could lower resource consumption by making this an option. For monthly, I need options like Fist 1 and Last "For example, some reports are needed the last Thursday of the month, other reports are needed on either the 1st or 2nd Monday of every month.

This would be Super useful. Also under monthly, if it was possible to add things like, working day 4 or the first Monday / the Last Friday.
