The minimum text size in a Table is 8. I could use smaller options for tables that have a lot of data horizontally. Not many columns will fit on a page when you have a few text columns.

RE: Smaller Font Options
This would really help; I'm shocked this is still an open issue...
RE: Smaller Font Options
Agree with other comments here. Why have the restriction at all? Why can't page designers use whatever font size they want? It feels like somebody has decided that all reports must meet some internal Microsoft standard design. If it's possible to render it, then let us do that even if our reports look bad to you.
RE: Smaller Font Options
I don't understand why this restriction is in place to begin with. If someone wants a smaller font size, so what?
RE: Smaller Font Options
Font 8 is way too large both on Desktop and webservice, it makes reports look jammed and ugly, squeezing out most spaces, really not efficient use of browser. Font 6 is MUST.
RE: Smaller Font Options
Smaller than 8 font size - yes please! My reports will look so much more professional if I had smaller font.
RE: Smaller Font Options
Font size 6 would be great!
RE: Smaller Font Options
Size 6 font would be a game changer. Please consider it!
RE: Smaller Font Options
Agree with all comments. We need something smaller than 8 pt.
RE: Smaller Font Options
It's not just about screen estate. I have users who want to see numbers on smaller visual elements (e.g. donut charts) and they can't because Power BI doesn't support a small enough font. Increasing the canvas size doesn't fix the problem because users may not have the screen resolution capability required to view the report.
RE: Smaller Font Options
I have want to have small font size. Power BI is useful, but our supervisors may not know about how to using it. I need to prerpare PDF format for them.Small font will be helpful for the layout.
