I would like to group visuals, textboxes and shapes to create custom features and presentations in the reports.

RE: group objects

I think every MS Office product has this. It's a definite must.

RE: group objects

Allow Visio type grouping of visuals so they can be moved around on the page as an autonomous unit and allow copy/paste of the group.

Then we can create a single unit of visuals that are used multiple times on a page.

The format for the autonomous unit would only include the common data fields, X/Y positioning, and scaling %.

RE: group objects

This is an important feature. It should be given high accord.

RE: group objects

How is it that this idea has so few votes? Does everyone like dragging around one visual at a time? There are a couple of other similar ideas, so perhaps a moderator can consolidate same/ideas, so they can get some traction!

RE: group objects

I think Poerbi needs more vote to look upon this fix. They are not doing any UX fix and waiting for users to raise their complaints and only after reaching certain votes they will look into this matter.

RE: group objects

Why not simply let user to select multiple shape like PowerPoint. Every Microsoft user is habitual for selecting multiple objects in that way. Then why you are implementing everything differently in Powerbi which is not user friendly. Overall UX is crap.

'@PowerBI, do you have some kind of prediction for these feature implementation? It's in the roadmap?
