This would be great to have when you have ETO Projects that are POC billing that need to utilize work centers and capacity planning along regular manufacturing going through a facility. Ideally, costs accumulated on the production order would roll up the same way to the linked job - material, capacity, subcontract - and be captured based on usage as of date when WIP is calculated and posted.

As mentioned by others, this is important- especially when there is no final posting.May I suggest creating a reference to the stored document and have a link table. This way, if the original SO has 3 attachments and 8 partial postings, you don't end up with 24 saved documents chewing up storage space.

A fairly straightforward approach would be to add a "Change Accounting Date" function in =PurchReqCreatePurchListPage This function could be an option to be enabled by a sys admin in accordance with a company's business rules.

I've also ran into this issue now as well. Microsoft Support claims this is a limitation in product. So, please remove that limitation. I should be able to click a URL with my report filter and export to PDF with the same results.
