You can use SharePoint as a source for your file, the trick is to use the SharePoint https site, such as:https://.sharepoint.com/sites/BUT!!!If the folder is too nested, you can't use the file, you'll get aDataFormat.Error: The specified path, file name or both are too long. The fully qualified file name must be less than 260 characters, and the directory name must be less than 248 characters.

When I do something as simple as clicking the little eyeball icon next to a field in a semantic model layout, it CHANGES THE ZOOM LEVEL ON ME.

This needs to be higher up. My organization uses Databricks as its system of reference and this would be an ideal solution. Unfortunately, because of our private network and firewall setup, we aren't even able to test this.
