Not sure if this is what you are looking for but in mobile device menu items where Mode is set to "Work" there is a button for 'Work confirmation setup' which has 'Location confirmation' as an option to configure. We use this to force the worker to scan the location barcode.

You should be able to add it to a custom Model Driven App using URL as the content type. It definitely works when adding it to the site map navigation.

Agree - this is a huge pain point for us. We have over 100 legal entities and analyze each one individually. It is very challenging to get visibility into the original entry. We have to click one by one and go through related vouchers to get to source. We have not been successful in finding a report that can provide this information. If someone has a better way to do this please let me know.
